Help Our School Contest
We live on the MS Gulf Coast. Many schools were destroyed in the wrath of Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005.
In the hopes of assisting my school and any others that we can help as we progress, we have added a new contest
under the Pretty In Pink Ribbons wing, called Help Our School Contest. The first contest ended in December. The
second will end on February 14, 2006. The third contest will end on May 15, and the fourth will end on August 29.
What is the contest, you ask?
You know those Labels for Education (need the whole label) that you find on Campbell Soups and such? And, the
Boxtops for Education squares you find on General Mills products, etc? THAT is what we are looking for. We can
use those to get the classrooms back up and running with the items that were destroyed in the storm.
My daughter is donating crowns to the three people who send in the most labels, boxtops, and/or combination of
both. The highest will be our "Overall Winner", there will be a "Boxtops Winner", and a "Labels Winner". The
"Winners" being either "Queen" or "King". He or she will receive a donated crown, sash or medallion, and a gift from
us. Please include your name, mailing address, and we would like to get an e-mail address. This information will not
be shared, as always.
